Geelong Arts Centre Tour
Go behind the scenes at the spectacular new arts centre
START TIME 10:30AM
The Geelong Arts Centre is a spectacular new performing arts venue in the heart of Geelong.
A tour has been arranged for VPFMA members to meet with GAC staff and explore the many performance spaces in the newly opened centre.
Following the tour, enjoy lunch at Tutti, the vibrant new cafe in the GAC complex.
After lunch, members have the opportunity to visit the Geelong Gallery directly over the road from the Geelong Arts Centre.
Geelong Gallery is currently hosting two spectacular exhibitions,
Discovering the Impressionists: Paul Durand-Ruel
Claude Monet and Australian Impressionism
Ticket bookings are recommended for the gallery at Geelong Gallery
There is the possibility of a guided group tour of the Discovering the Impressionists exhibition if there is sufficient interest. Please indicate your interest to Hugh Delahunty.
Getting There
The 8:50am train from Southern Cross Station arrives at Geelong Station at 9:51am. Peter Loney will be at Geelong Station to greet VPFMA members and escort you to the Geelong Arts Centre which is around a 250 metre walk.
